"Whiskey Soap as the absolute best version of itself: Mixed with coffee. What a fricken’ amazing way to shower your morning to a brilliant start. --------------------------------------------------- ‘OH HELL YES!’ you say to yourself first thing in the morning. You walk past a couple BB guns on your way to the kitchen for a cup of Hair of the Dog… Whiskey and coffee is the perfect way to start this Saturday. Who needs bloody mary? You need caffeine. You need whiskey. Still in your bathrobe and slippers, you step out on to the porch, a cup of warm elixir in one hand and a BB rifle in the other. You squint out at the targets you and your friends set up last night… cans of PBR glinting in the sun. You sit down on your rocking chair with the old-as-hell cushion and yes, this might just be the best weekend ever. And it’s only Saturday morning. Oh Hell Yes indeed. And right after this coffee, you’re going to shower. ———————————- ""Smells like bourbon, coffee, and chocolate fudge. Looks like chocolate fudge, too. Won’t make you smell like a distillery, but if you happen to sniff your skin some time after your shower, you still get a whiff of awesome. Great for shaving legs and pits, does not dry out my skin at all."" - Svenja, customer ""This is my favorite soap. I have tried three or four others and like them, but this is the one I come back to."" - Richard Ely III, customer It has come to my attention that not everyone knows what ‘hair of the dog’ is either due to the fact that the saying is hundreds of years old or because of cultural differences (like people not drinking enough whiskey). ‘Hair of the dog’ refers to the time honored tradition of starting one’s day with a shot of alcohol to minimize the effects of a hangover. It comes from the old medieval ‘medical’ treatment for rabies, which was to apply dog hair to the dog bite… thusly, ‘have a bit of the hair of the dog that bit ya’ came to mean ‘drink some of whatever made you feel this awful.’ I personally am not a fan of treating hangovers with more alcohol (since it seems counter-productive), but Whiskey + Coffee = hangover cure. Our soaps are formulated with an all-vegan combination of oils that is both delightfully sudsy in the shower and leaves your skin silky smooth and, if you wish, sooooo kissable (though we’re not getting all up in your boundaries). We make them with love and laughter in order to bring the best of ourselves to you. Every order is combined in a rustic, gift-worthy burlap bag and includes one of our bumper stickers. If this is a gift for someone other than yourself and you’d like us to include a note, put that in the order notes section when you order. We’ll hand write it in our attempt at a legible note. Ingredients: Coconut oil, avocado oil, castor oil, olive oil, distilled water, sodium hydroxide, fragrance oil, and coloring. All our soaps are handmade and, as a result, may have some minor cosmetic and weight differences. Read more:"
