Ca. 1870 Cottage Dresser Faux Paint Decorated by Rob Sykes Furniture Sykes #180511 Cottage Dresser This ca. 1870 paint decorated American cottage dresser has been refurbished and re-glued; it is has just been repainted by me and has never left my shop since the refurbishment. This piece is in good condition for being approximately 150 years old. I do sell by other means from my shop. “PLEASE CHECK FOR AVAILABILITY ON THIS ITEM” Dimensions at the widest points are 36” Wide x 28” High x 18” Deep • Custom Hand Painted Paint Decorated • Faux Paint in 2018 • Complete Refurbishment • 100% Solid Wood [White Pine] • Traditional American Design • Four Coats of Lacquer Low Gloss [Matte Finish] to Protect Paint • Tired of foreign imports and pressboard • American Made Finishes are applied by hand and often involve time consuming multistep processes to achieve an antique, vintage or worn appearance. The cabinets and furniture I build and repair will have imperfections knots-knot holes, nail holes, scratches, dings and dents. Those imperfections are what make each piece stand out on its own from the next.
